Q/L = 2π·k·ΔT / ln(r₂/r₁)
How It Works
Q/L = (2π·k·ΔT) / ln(r₂/r₁)
Steady radial conduction through cylindrical insulation. ΔT = ambient − cold. Add vapour barriers to stop condensation under the insulation, which destroys its k-value.
